"Legacy Support Enabled and Secure boot disable" option is selected as it was working fine.What it means to me is that the disk drive is probably formatted as GPT, but the partitions you created were ext2 instead of ext4. Grub-install: error: will not proceed with blocklists. However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged. GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists. Grub-install: warning: this GPT partition label contains no BIOS Boot Partition embedding won't be possible. sudo mkdir sudo mount /dev/sda3 sudo grub-install -boot-directory=/mnt/ubuntu/boot /dev/sda When I run these commands it raise an error, not sure what to do now. Windows is install on sdb drive and ubuntu 18.04 on the sda, I'm trying to recover the grub as windows updates removed the grub loader, here is the drives status.
